Bonjourno Milano!

This week we took to the streets of Italy to seek inspiration for Spring/Summer 2018. Internationally recognised as one of the world’s fashion capitals alongside London, Paris and New York, Milan has a long-established history in the fashion and design industry.

Milan Shopping

Milan Fashion District

Here we are, exploring the main shopping districts around Piazza del Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II – can’t you just see the excitement in our faces! We are in our element when the sun is shining and we’re surrounded by beautiful bags, fuelling our creative energy for the forthcoming season!

Flagship Stores

We love seeing new store concepts around the world and Europe does not disappoint. D&G on Via della Spiga targets the entire family with their heavily marketed tagline #DGfamily displayed throughout the store. Each trend is displayed quite uniquely, with clothes and accessories for each family member all on the same rail. At Dior, the entire wall of the staircase features a televised catwalk show, enticing shoppers to venture upstairs.

Interesting Fact!

Monte Napoleone is ranked the sixth most expensive shopping street in the world! Adjacent to equally famous Via della Spiga, this is where we saw many top end designer’s flagship stores showcase their statement pieces for the season. To sum these collections up in just a few words,  we think BEJEWELLED, STUDDED, MAXI HARDWARE, STATEMENT STRAP AND NOVELTY would just about cover it!
